Notes: While not a very large park, there is a short but steep trail that loops from the base of the dam up and over the top (the road is now pedestrian only) and back down again. The views of the reservoir from the top are nice.
There are usually several festivals held here (we’ve visited Italian and Chinese ones) and it’s most worthwhile to time the trip for such an event. Or, if you’re in the area and want to stop for a quick half-an-hour walk around it’s worth a look. But I would not recommend making a stand-alone trip to just to visit.
PS – this is a fantastic place for rollerblading.
